 Nigerian Army to Recruit 24,000 Soldiers!

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Waidi Shaibu, announced plans to recruit and train 24,000 soldiers to strengthen the Nigerian Army amid rising security challenges.


✅ Three new training facilities approved by President Tinubu will train 12,000 soldiers in 6 months, with capacity to double if needed.

✅ Recruits will gain modern warfare skills, combat tactics, and leadership training.

✅ Focus is on quality, readiness, and welfare, under the “Soldier First” initiative.

This drive will boost manpower, improve troop deployment, and enhance the Army’s ability to respond to threats nationwide.
